Vito R. Pitta is a member of Pitta Bishop & Del Giorno LLC. Resident in the firm’s New York City office, Mr. Pitta concentrates his efforts on behalf of the firm’s labor union, not-for-profit, M/WBE, and corporate clients in advocacy before all local government bodies and agencies, including the Office of the Mayor, Office of the Public Advocate, Office of the Comptroller, and the New York City Council. Mr. Pitta routinely monitors, attends, and reports to clients on legislative hearings and hearings of various executive and administrative agencies, and serves as a liaison between clients and various industry-specific organizations. 

A member of the Bar of the State of New York, Mr. Pitta is also a Partner at Pitta Bishop’s affiliated law firm Pitta LLP. In that capacity, Mr. Pitta offers campaign finance and lobbying disclosure compliance counsel and advice to the firm’s candidate committee, political action committee, labor union, not-for-profit, and corporate clients. He represents the firm’s clients before the Federal Election Commission, the New York State Board of Elections, and the New York City Campaign Finance Board, as well as the New York State Joint Commission on Public Ethics and the New York City Clerk.

A native New Yorker, Mr. Pitta is a graduate of Manhattan’s Regis High School. In 2008, he received his B.A., summa cum laude, in Interdisciplinary Study from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. Having concentrated in law, language, and linguistics, Mr. Pitta was a Lewis Rudin Scholar for the entirety of his undergraduate career and was a Founders’ Day Award recipient and Honors Scholar. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School in 2011, where he was a Carlswell Scholar. 

Mr. Pitta is also a licensed New York State Real Estate Broker and fluent in Italian.
