Brian Krapf has more than 25 years of experience in leading all internal and external communications and executing strategic communication plans in alignment with an organization’s overall goals and objectives. Brian was previously Executive Vice President with George Arzt Communications, Inc., where he developed, strengthened, and managed public and government relations for multiple clients in the political, educational, healthcare, real estate and not-for-profit arenas.
He has managed the pitching and placement of news articles and editorials in support of multiple clients, and has written proposals, speeches, op-eds, and other communications. Over the course of his career Brian has developed and initiated communication strategies for an array of clients and advised on key aspects of city and statewide campaigns including overall political strategy and media relations. He has served as a primary press secretary and spokesperson for elected officials during political campaigns and on behalf of companies and organizations during crisis. Brian has also developed and executed strategic plans for lobbying clients and supported lobbying efforts on both the city and state level.
Earlier in his career, Brian served as Director of Publications and Special Projects for the Center for the Study of the Presidency, a non-partisan, non-profit educational corporation dedicated to the study of the American Presidency. During his tenure he served as Managing Editor of the Center’s quarterly publication, Presidential Studies Quarterly.
